In late October of 2005, we lost our precious 18 year old son, Stephen, in an automobile accident.  Stephen was special--a National Honor Society member, a state champion wrestler and a mentor to inner-city kids.  We knew Stephen's Spirit was in heaven, but Stephen had given us such joy that we wanted to place his body in an environment that would honor his incredibly positive life.  At the time, we had no plan for where our family would be buried.  The owner of the cemetery where we were considering burying Stephen recommended that we consider a nine space Fortress Personal Mausoleum which would provide a burial plan for our entire family.  I had never seen the nine space mausoleum that we ended up buying--I had only seen a two place mausoleum manufactured by Fortress.  But the quality and workmanship were evident.  The owner of Fortress Personal Mausoleums, Don Magallanes, was very responsive, making arrangements for immediate delivery of the nine space mausoleum in time for placement at the cemetery and our son's burial.  We were so pleased with the quality of the mausoleum ,and with permission from the cemetery, we decided to completely landscape the entire setting.  Later on, Mr. Magallanes provided us with a cross for the top of the mausoleum that perfectly matched the granite and aggregate finish of the mausoleum.  I highly recommend the products and staff of Fortress Personal Mausoleums.
